If you’ve chosen the optional airport transfers, our team will arrange to pick you up either from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi.
Once you’ve settled in, we’ll schedule a pre-trek briefing at your hotel in Moshi. It’s recommended to arrive at least one day before the trek begins to ensure you’re well-rested and prepared. Moshi to Umbwe Gate, Trek to Umbwe Camp
Begin your 6-day Umbwe Route expedition by driving from Moshi to Umbwe Gate (1,800 meters) for park registration. As you commence the trek, immerse yourself in the lush rainforest, where you’ll have the chance to spot unique wildlife and vibrant flora along the trail.
